Steps to take before and after the storm

Prepare in Advance

Deposit Checks Remotely

Deposit checks using the camera on your mobile device. For higher volume of check deposits, sign up for Remote Deposit Capture to deposit checks securely from your work or other location using a desktop scanner.

Remote Deposit Capture requires set up by a Treasury Management Specialist.

Activate Wire Services

Be ready to send domestic or international wires, same day or scheduled for a future date, when your primary systems are down. Wire Services require advance enrollment. Activate securely in Online or Mobile Banking: Banking: Services > Client Services > Activate Wire Transfer now.

Accept Card Payments

Keep sales going during outages: accept secure payments by credit, debit, and major digital wallets, online or in store. Merchant Services enrollment is required in advance to enable these options. Set it up beforehand so checkout stays available when systems go down.

Ensure Liquidity

Set up a business line of credit now so working capital is ready when you need it. Cover payroll, inventory, or unexpected repairs without delay. Access funds quickly, repay as cash comes in, and draw again as needed. Application and approval are required in advance.

Emergency Expenses

Keep spending moving during disruptions with Purchasing Cards, a secure way for staff to pay for supplies, emergency repairs, and travel in person or online. Set individual limits, track expenses, and reduce reimbursements. Purchasing Cards require application and approval in advance.

Zelle® for your small business

Send and receive payments with customers and eligible small businesses using a U.S. mobile number or email. No account numbers needed. Useful for invoices, deposits, or quick refunds. Limits and recipient eligibility apply. Online or Mobile Banking > Transfer & Pay > Zelle®

Provision for Payroll

Set up Direct Deposit via ACH so employees are paid on time, even if normal operations are disrupted. Enroll in ACH Origination now, establish templates and dual controls, and add a backup approver. Same Day ACH may be available. Enrollment and approval required in advance.

Right Before a Storm

Update Contact Informaiton

Confirm your email, phone number, and contact details in Online Banking to ensure we can reach you quickly before, during, or after a storm. Online or Mobile Banking > Services > Client Services > Update Contact Information.

Withdraw Cash

Keep cash on hand in case ATMs or debit card networks are unavailable during or after a storm. Accessible funds help ensure you can pay for essential items like food, fuel, and supplies when electronic payment systems may not be reliable.

Add Authorized Users

In preparation, give trusted employees authorized access to make deposits, send payments, or view balances, with custom entitlements and transaction limits for each user. Online or Mobile Banking > Commercial > User > Add User

Manage Payables

Make future date vendor payments using wires, ACH, and bill pay in Online Banking are the mobile app. Wire Services require enrollment in advance. Online or Mobile Banking > Services > Client Services > Activate Wire Transfer

Schedule Loan Payments

Easily schedule automatic loan payments through ACH or Bill Pay in Online Banking or the mobile app. Setting up recurring payments helps you stay current and avoid missed deadlines, ensuring your obligations are met even if storm disruptions occur.

Enroll in eStatements

Access secure digital account statements anytime in Online or Mobile Banking. Download or print recent and past statements to track activity and keep documentation on hand. Online or Mobile Banking > Services > Statement Delivery

Add Cards to Digital Wallet

Upload your Banesco USA debit, credit, and Purchasing Cards to Apple Wallet® or Google WalletTM. Enjoy secure, contactless payments and the convenience of leaving your physical cards behind while still managing purchases with confidence.
