The community bank has added experienced banking professionals and Relationship Bankers to bolster the growth of this specialized banking division.
MIAMI, FL (July 11, 2023) – Banesco USA, a leading community bank with over $3.5 billion in assets, announces the creation of its Business & Professional Division. The newly formed team will address the varying business needs of Banesco’s client baseand provide comprehensive banking solutions tailored to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and professionals.
Recognizing the need for a specialized banking division as the economic landscape grows and evolves across South Florida, the division aims to redefine the traditional banking experience for businesses and professionals, offering all-encompassing solutions that will enhance the bank’s ability to streamline customer service efforts.

Banesco has hired experienced banking professionals or Relationship Bankers in recent months to help support the growth and needs of the division, including Lisa Gonzalez, Senior Vice President & Business and Professional Manager; Luis Gonzalez, Senior Vice President & Team Manager for the Business & Professional Relationship Managers; and Terri Castellano, Senior Vice President & Team Leader for the Client Relationship Team, who will spearhead the division.
The team will focus on developing new business for the bank, including generating loans, deposits, residential mortgages, and treasury management, and will target the region’s diverse business community, including locally grown companies such as distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturers; professional services clients like attorneys, physicians, dentists, and veterinarians; and entrepreneurs including business owners and real estate investors.
