From Reading to Leading: Karyn Vidal’s Vision to Grow Florida’s Future Healthcare Heroes

Meet Karyn J. Vidal, the dynamic President & CEO, Chairwoman, and Founder of the International College of Health Sciences (ICHS). Karyn’s life is a balance between focused professional leadership and deeply cherished personal passions.

Karyn’s journey of continuous learning began with a book. Her love of reading is a lifelong connection, taking root as far back as she can remember. This natural curiosity and commitment to knowledge are traits she pours directly into ICHS, an accredited 30,000 sq. ft. institution dedicated to producing Florida’s next generation of skilled healthcare professionals.

Her thirst for discovery expanded 10 years ago when her brother, a high school teacher, invited her on his annual student trip to Europe. “I went with him and was hooked,” Karyn recalls. That moment cemented a new passion for traveling, a global view that mirrors the expansive vision she holds for her college.

Building a Foundation for Growth

Running a top-tier educational institution, complete with virtual simulation hospital labs, accredited programs from ACEN and CAAHEP, and extensive community approvals, requires not just vision but also solid financial footing. Karyn recognized that to consistently grow ICHS and meet the needs of her students and staff, she needed a financial partner that understood her goals.
